Gloria studied traditional Japanese Reiki under two of Kyoto's Reiki masters — Master Hyakuten Inamoto, and Master Tadao Yamaguchi, son of Master Chiyoko Yamaguchi.
In addition, Gloria has also studied Western Reiki under an American master, as well as Western Reiki within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This has allowed her to blend the strengths of both Japanese and Western Reiki, developing a method that preserves traditional Reiki while enhancing its healing effectiveness.
As Gloria frequently provides Reiki healing to others, she has treated over 600 people, plants, and animals, giving her extensive hands-on healing experience.
She has handled a wide variety of cases, including emotional issues of varying severity, long-term chronic conditions, and serious illnesses such as cancer. As a result, Gloria is able to share her practical experience in depth, teaching students the key points to pay attention to when handling different types of cases.
